ALPHA
ALPHA is a 11 week course that gives people an opportunity to explore big life questions. Questions like: is there any point to life? and what happens when I die? Classes are in a relaxed atmosphere over a 2 hour time. Dinner is served for the first half hour, offering participants a time to wind down and switch gears from their work day as well as a time to fellowship and make new friends. After dinner is a presentation followed by small group discussion that includes a guilding workbook.
Light of Christ schedules two classes of ALPHA each year, which are open to everyone who is interested...in or out of the church.

ALPHA is a Christianity 101 course...a practical introduction to the Christian faith. At an Alpha course people explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away. It is low-key, friendly and fun – and is supported by all the main Christian denominations. Why not take this opportunity to explore the meaning of life?
