The weekly Sunday's Cool program is a wonderful curriculum that connects church, home and daily life. Parents receive letters that explain the lesson and include ideas to supplement the lesson theme over the next two weeks. The following dates have special themes/service projects related to the time-of-year/holiday.

Sunday' s Cool
Mission Statement: To grow children and their families in Christ in a safe, respectful and loving environment.
Objectives:
*Create a positive learning environment for all children
*Provide a variety of curriculum, tools and activities in Christian education to meet the different learning styles of each child and teaching styles of each teacher
*Provide reasonable student/teacher ratios to promote a positive learning environment
*Assist children in applyig the lessons of the Bible to their own life situations
*Teach and encourage prayer
*Provide children with opportunities to serve their church and community
*Teach and support children to be living examples of Christ's love
Programs:
*Nursery- infants to 3 yrs
*Preschool/Kindergarten
*1st/2nd grade
*3rd/4th grade
*5th/6th grade
Vacation Bible School- fun-filled program offered for one week in June.
Summer Sunday Program- all ages combined in a VBS format, offered June through July
Parent's Night Out- toddlers to 4th grade: Bible stories, crafts, music and games. Offered various Saturday evenings throughout the regular Sunday's Cool year.

Volunteer Opportunities:
*Sunday School Teachers:
Commitment: Teach 2 Sundays every 4 weeks or 1 Sunday every 3 weeks
Term: August-May
Work with team of 2 other teachers
User friendly curriculum provided
Classes grouped according to age- Prek/Kdg, 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, & 5th/6th
Quarterly minstry team meetings
Team social/fellowship events
*Sunday's Cool Host/ Hostess:
Commitment: at least 1 Sunday a month
Term: August to May
Host Sunday School Sign-in table
Register new children for Sunday School
Assist teachers getting children to appropriate class
Assist in classes as needed
May assist students having a difficult time in Sunday School back to parent
*Nursery Attendant:
Commitment: 1 Sunday a month
Term: Year round
Oversee care and polay of infants to 3 year olds
Quarterly ministry team mettings
Team social/fellowship events
*Summer Sunday Program:
Commitment: 1 or 2 Cundays during the summer, work with partner
Term: June & July
Facilitate Bible lesson and activities for multi-age group, preK-6th grade
*Assist with Special Events:
Fall & Spring Family Festivals
