Light of Christ Christian Preschool welcomes all children in a setting that offers a safe place to learn and grow spiritually, socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually.  Underlying all activities is the desire to help children know and love God and think about and care for others.  Curriculum includes individual and group times to learn through hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning and play activities.

Preschool Staff

Stephanie Gore

My family (Rick, Shayla & Lukas) and I moved to Arizona in 2018 from Maryland.  We found Light of Christ Church and fell in love with it immediately because it's all about Jesus and serving others.  I am blessed to have the privilege of serving the amazing Preschool Team and the Preschool Families.

Minis Lead Teacher
Lauren Ritter

I have been blessed enough to teach Preschool since 2014. My heart and passion lead me to explore and learn with the
children through life skills, communication, and God’s love. My husband and I moved from Northern California to Arizona in
2019 and had our first little one in 2020. We enjoy walking to the park, playing with our pups, and getting together with friends and family for food and fun!

 Minis Teacher
Danielle Fox

I am so lucky to be the wife of an awesome man and the mom to three little boys and one huge great dane. We've had lots of adventures living in Indiana, Minnesota, and now in Chandler. I love to bake, sew, and do all kinds of crafts. I'm excited to watch your children grow and learn this year.

Littles Lead Teacher

My family and I moved to Arizona in 2019 from Illinois.  I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education from Illinois State University. In my free time, I enjoy traveling to Disney, spending time with my family and swimming.  I am blessed to be teaching at Light of Christ Preschool.

Littles Teacher

Diana Peterson

My name is Diana Peterson.  I enjoy helping the

children at Light of Christ Preschool.  I have a degree in Physics from the University of Baghdad. I also serve as a Language Interpreter for AFLS as needed.  My husband, David, myself and our son James moved from Iowa to Arizona in 2018.  Our family loves the Arizona weather and spending time hiking, swimming, and travelling when possible. The Lord has blessed us to be here, and given me the opportunity to assist in teaching the children.  “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Matthew 7:12

Bigs Lead Teacher
Tracy Fuller

I'm an Arizona native with a passion for teaching and helping others foster a loving relationship with learning.  In 2005, I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education from Arizona State University.  Since then, I have been in the classroom.  I've taught Kindergarten and 2nd Grade.  I currently reside in Gilbert with my husband and our dogs.  In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my daughters and grandchildren.

Bigs Teacher
Katlyn Bellack

My name is Katy Bellack!  My family and I have been attending Light of Christ Church for 5 years.  I have been working with the Preschool for 2 years now and I have loved every minute of it!  Last year I was able to work with the 4-5 year old class three days a week.  I'm so excited to be able to work five days a week this year!  I can't wait to work with this years wonderful students by teaching them about the Lord and helping them learn everything they need to know!  Counting down the days until I can meet these amazing kids!

 Bigs Too Lead Teacher
Shelley Earl

I have been blessed to live in Gilbert with my husband and two children for over 25

years.  When I am not teaching, I am usually watching my son play sports, reading

or traveling with family & friends.  I hold a degree in Elementary Education with an

Early Childhood Endorsement from Northern Arizona University.  Previously I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade, Kindergarten and I was a K-6 Reading Specialist for a total of fourteen years.  I also homeschooled my own children for six years.  I am excited to guide and watch our “littles” grow using hands on learning & play.

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.”   -Psalm 127:3

Bigs Too Teacher
Vicki Mick

Originally from Nebraska, I have lived in Arizona since 2008.  I am married with two elementary-age boys who keep us busy playing baseball, soccer, football, basketball and American ninja warrior.  We enjoy exploring all the beauty Arizona has to offer including camping, hiking, swimming, ATV riding, dining and all types of sporting events.  I also enjoy reading, working out and hosting pool parties with friends. We began attending Light of Christ in July 2020 and officially became members in June 2021. I am excited to have the opportunity to help your son or daughter excel in their education and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Children are truly a blessing from God and listening to their stories and hearing their laughter brightens my day!

It is the philosophy and firm belief of Light of Christ Christian Preschool that each child is uniquely created by God with individual gifts and abilities.  It is our overall goal to encourage the growth of the "whole child" through each one's spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
